Hello and welcome to Feral Coziness, my home for everything creative, cozy, and wonderfully messy.

After trying, unsuccessfully, for years to niche down, I’ve decided the best thing for me is a place where crafting, reading, and writing all blend together into the kind of creative life that looks a little chaotic from the outside, but feels like home on the inside. If it brings me joy, sparks curiosity, or makes me laugh at myself, it shows up here.

Who I Am

I’m Winona. A crafter of strange things, horror writer with a soft heart, reader of everything from haunting short stories to cozy fantasy, and a person who believes creativity is better when it’s messy, joyful, and deeply personal.

I don’t do minimalism. I do cozy corners, half-finished projects, piles of ideas, and the kind of creative enthusiasm that tends to spill out into everything I do.

What Feral Coziness Means to Me

I’m someone who thrives on:

• Starting projects because they feel right, not because they’ll be perfect. Enjoyment matters more than aesthetics to me
• Hoarding books in little teetering piles around the house. I’ll read them all one day, I SWEAR! 🤞🏼
• Crafting creatures with more personality than some people I know. It started with frogs, and ended up with a “I wonder if I could make a…?”
• Chasing weird story ideas that bite at my ankles until I write them down. For real though, I am a horror author. My stories can be weird, and lots of the have bite.
• Finding comfort in warm spaces that don’t mind being a little wild around the edges.

“Coziness” is my safe place.
“Feral” is the spark that keeps everything interesting.
Feral Coziness is where those two sides meet and make something worth sharing.
